It seems I have -ahem- a trojan virus on my computer... Would anyone by chance know how to go through the process of hunting it down or recommend a free anti-malware/spyware program?

Try Malawarebytes Malware Remover... something like that. Malaware. It got rid of mine after... after I got it :/
